Re: [DR]Doctor Dolittle's Post Office, Hugh Lofting - ke

I want to do the king in dialect, in a lower register. PP would have a different "voice." Did you ever watch "Mr Rogers Neighborhood"? King Friday XIII was voiced by Fred Rogers. I had to read that or hear it in an interview to figger that out! In the meantime, "Remember the Alamo" by TR Fahrentold...

Re: LibriVox 14th Anniversary Collection-ag

Once Maria (commonsparrow3) gets her recording submitted, we'll have our 14 sections. Should we accept more recordings before the August 24th deadline? The 14 recordings isn't written in stone. Pretty PLEEEEAAASE!!! I'd really like to contribute, but haven't had a chance to record yet. I was about ...

Re: LibriVox 14th Anniversary Collection-ag

I'm planning to record a short story called "Fourteen to One." Supposedly based on true events. I would have made a start on it yesterday, but I had a splitting headache start up just as I was getting ready to record. :(

Great! I'll do the next section.

Still haven't learned how to talk like a sailor for one-eye. I'm not sure I want to do a pirate.
It's fine. That was an optional suggestion, not a demand.

Devorah, I've updated the MW in my usual style, bolding the characters in the section where they are appear when they are PL OK.

I've also claimed Too-Too the owl for myself.
Sounds great, thank you!

Re: OPEN[PLAYS]One Act Play Collection 012 - thw

Thank you both! Regarding spacing, a trick I've learned is to disregard spacing as I read my lines, and just read them in whatever way feels natural. Then when I begin to edit, I find a spot of about 3 seconds' silence, copy it, and then paste it in between each line. Don't worry about the extra and...

Re: [RELIG HIST] Journal of Francis Asbury, Vol. I - tg

It looks like, in changing the volume of 19, Chris also slowed the tempo way down somehow. I sorry I didn't catch it before. I'll go ahead and fix it. I'll give it another PL also.
