Re: [RELIG HIST] Journal of Francis Asbury, Vol. I - tg

Good Afternoon, I have uploaded the following file: journaloffrancisasbury1_20_asbury_128kb.mp3 It passed the checker and came in a bit how at 91 db. I will continue to work on my volume control. Chris Thank you, Chris. 91 dB is actually just a tad high, above the 89 that we aim at. But it is withi...

Re: You know you're addicted to LV when... (slight return)

Campbell, I could only dream of having 6 to 9 hours a day to spend at LV. Oh, how productive I would be.... You know you're addicted to LibriVox when, while planning for a trip to one of the most beautiful parts of the country (Colorado Springs), where you'll see family members you haven't seen for ...

Re: [GRP] Stories of the 1st American Animals Langford d. 1964-ans

Thank you. I just left for work after my previous post here, so now I will not be able to edit the MW for at least 8 hours, or maybe not until tomorrow. But either Anne will give you access, or I will update when I can.

Section 21 OK

I can't seem to access the magic window though.
Thank you. I think it's because Anne hasn't seen yet that you've volunteered as DPL. I will PM her to be sure that she sees it, and I will update the MW in the meantime.

Re: [GROUP] Twentieth Century Negro Literature-mas

Section 14 is PL ok! This was another position which surprised me a little. There are many viewpoints given in these papers which I would never have considered!

Re: [GROUP] Twentieth Century Negro Literature-mas

I really really enjoyed section 4! You did a great job with the list about mid-way through. It was very easy to follow. The paragraph about the state of women under slavery actually brought me to tears. There is one minor note you may wish to address: There is a "hiccup" or break in the audio ...

Re: [GROUP] Twentieth Century Negro Literature-mas

Notes for section 12:

10:35-10:37 False start "This can be shown..." should be cut.

This section was extremely good, I thought. I appreciated the honesty with which the author basically rejected the premise of the question itself.

Re: Group: Ancient Poems, Ballads and Songs of the Peasantry of England - rap

I just watched your demonstration Devorah (different time zones)! Thank you for the information! My house is also right next to railway tracks, but in my case, the trains are either faster, or a lot shorter  I need to wait for less than a minute most of the times to continue recording. You're ...

Re: OPEN[GRP]Pinero, Playwright by Hamilton Fyfe - thw

I hope you saved your work frequently, if you had to deal with Audacity crashing! I look forward to hearing this. I've had lots of sections coming in for PL lately for one of my other projects, and they all seem to be around 20 minutes or more, so I'm a bit backed up on PLs, but I'll try to ...

I'm glad this was uploaded tonight, I got to use this as my 'making a sandwich' time while my de-Clicker ran :D  I do the same. I di...

Section 40 for PL: (26:07) https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/journaloffrancisasbury1_40_asbury_128kb.mp3 Thanks Brian. One note for this section: 22:26 I hear "Thomas Vaney" here. This should be "Thomas Vasey." Vasey is not quite so well known as Asbury, Wesley, Whitefield, and Coke, but he come...

Re: Trying out Twitch (AKA watch us edit ... ooh! ahh!)

Hah! That's funny that plaidsicle is taken. That's how I am with mightyfelix. I use it basically everywhere online, and it's pretty much always available, so if it's already taken, I pretty much assume that it was an account I made and forgot about or got locked out of. I'll wait for you, no worries...
