Maori Language: Hinemoa

It would be cool if somebody who knew Maori could read in Hinemoa, available from Gutenberg here:

[Old English] An Anglo-Saxon Reader/Beowulf

Does anybody know how to pronounce Old English? If they do it would be really cool to get some stuff up in it...so I could learn good pronunciation...

And if it has survived this long it really is classic literature...

Maybe (for Chinese as well as other foreign language learners) it would be good to have something in the catalog that has to do with accents, or to start a separate website using audio books from librivox...and then people can find books by accent and level. (Perhaps they need a easy book, in an Ame...

Thanks a lot recorders of this book!!

David, would it be possible to link it together with the English version? http://librivox.org/the-sayings-of-confucius-by-confucius/, like is done here for this Jules Verne novel: http://librivox.org/the-fur-country-by-jules-verne/ ??

Why don't you just catalog it under the Chinese title?? Instead of an English one?

And (David will have to confirm this) it is ok to post in Chinese. (Especially as the MC can understand it)

Wonderful :) Thanks so much!! Hoofdstuk 10 seems to have the wrong ID3 tags? It's listed as Voorwoord both in the catalog page, and the archive.org page ... Also, would it be possible to link it together with the English version, like is done in Jules Verne's "Fur Country" http://librivox....

The preface of this book: http://www.archive.org/details/theholiestofall00murruoft ( The Holiest of All ) shows that Murray wrote in Dutch, at least some of the time: When I first undertook the preparation of this exposition in Dutch for the Christian people among whom I labour, it was under a deep ...

He would have had to be dead before 1937, which doesn't seem too unlikely to me, if this is the edition that was translated in 1899. It could have been Murray himself, as his native language was Afrikaans. Though I don't think that's so likely. I'm not sure it will be so easy to find the translator ...

This is really cool :) If it's the same translation as is listed in Worldcat, it would have been first published in 1899, making it fine for Librivox (see http://worldcat.org/oclc/68087991) Once it's done perhaps the cataloger can link it together with the English recording, like is sometimes done w...

oops! Sorry about that

I realized there was some number, but it didn't occur to me what it was. I added the audio numbers in the original post, as it was already linked from the magic window. Is it ok now?

I PL'ed chapter 17. It is very nicely done!! A few verses, though, have a small word missing or added: (Verse 11) (in Audio: about 1:56) Online text: in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, You read: in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, (Verse 17) (in Aud...
