Re: [CZECH][OPEN][Fantasy] Krysař by Viktor Dyk - kit

Great! So I have looked and I can take the next 2 chapters X and XI / sections 10 and 11. About my name: I would like to call myself "Anna z Brna" on the recordings (there's a nice rhythm to it ;)) but if it is easier to choose one without spaces for the system, you can register me as Annacerv. Let ...

Test of Annacerv [OK]

Hello, this is my test in Czech language: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_annacerv.mp3 I work on Windows laptop with built-in mic + Audacity. Voice enhancement turned off, no editing. I tried an analog mic too, which causes so much noise you can't almost hear the speach. Maybe I will need to...

Re: [CZECH][OPEN][Fantasy] Krysař by Viktor Dyk - kit

Hi there! I am another Czech, registered a long time ago and all this time gathering the courage to record the test. I wish to record Karel Čapek's works eventually but it just seemed like a huge project to start with. Can I join yours and practice on it? What exactly should I say in the test when I...

Re: Volunteer from Czechia

Thank you, Ava! I didn't know Hathi Trust, that looks very good. And they have lots of Czech on there. A good source for Czech is otherwise the site of National Library of Prague. They publish e-books for free download that are definitely safe. But I will keep in mind to handle titles before 1923. I...

Volunteer from Czechia

Hello fellow readers! I am Czech, I love to read and even more I love to read aloud. Strangely enough, my family doesn't appreciate this hobby of mine, so I am searching for another opportunity. My favourite books are mostly from the 18th-19th century, and I came across LibriVox on youtube looking f...
