Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Magnificent Lovers by Molière - thw

Hahahaha! Don't get tricked by the word Princess here. She's an OLD PRINCESS. More like a Mother-in-law type of character. Generally, in Moliere's plays, men were playing many if not most of the old female or female parts. I know I'm new here, but I'm not new to real live stage playing. I do have a...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Magnificent Lovers by Molière - thw

Good advice! I'll do the Aristione parts then. Can I? :hmm:  I'm not the coordinator, but I assume he may prefer a female reader to play a princess. Or, at least, he'd probably want to wait and see if one comes along. :P Since you're new here, I'd recommend starting out small for now, to get ...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Magnificent Lovers by Molière - thw

Ok, I'll do "A Triton+ The Chorus lines(Act 1). Do you have any way of reading/interpreting the Chorus, in mind? Or, my (whichever) way is fine? I can try another one too: Section 7/ Aristione, a princess, mother to Eriphyle, Act 1. I'll do a neutral voice on that. Thanks. Just wanted to chim...

I'll aim to hand in my other roles after Easter.

Re: Mueller Report

Hi Josh,

There's an ongoing discussion about a potential LV recording of the report here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=74357

There's definitely a lot of interest, so I've no doubt someone will get it going soon.

Narrator for act 1 came out to 42:03.

Thank you, Devorah!

I'm not sure if Act 1 as it is now will fit the time limit, so we'll have wait and see once it gets edited. If it doesn't it'll have to be broken up into two parts.

Thanks for the edit, Sonia! Now all your narration is definitely PL OK.

Good catch regarding the Provost line, Brad. I missed it in my prep work. I'll add your files to the MW for Sonia to check.

Re: [FULL] Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare - kit

Sonia, I listened to your recordings and can say they are PL OK ! I like how you conveyed Overdone's flirtatious nature in her first scene with her terror at being arrested later on. Her confident nature takes quite a turn. The narration is great, too. You're very lucky this play isn't filled with t...

Re: FULL [PLAY] The Country Wife by William Wycherley - thw

Missing a Harcourt line for Act 3, which was mislabeled as 'Mar' in the text: "I am obliged to you indeed, dear friend. I would be well with her, only to be well with thee still; for these ties to wives usually dissolve all ties to friends. I would be contented she should enjoy you a-nights, but I w...
