Re: grp/novel the Heavenly Twins by Sara Grand- ag
Hi there dear PL. Re section 17, I had already applied noise reduction but have done so again. I can hear something odd at the 14:43 mark but don't seem to be able to get rid of it. I can't hear the noise at the other marks you mentioned. Could you check again please. It was very quiet when I record...

Re: [Short Stories]Countess of Lowndes Square by E. F. Benson-tg
At last, here's section 5. Sorry to take so long.
I had some problems reproducing the same sound quality with the insertions. Hope it's OK. If not, I'll have to re-record. Sigh...

Re: grp/novel the Heavenly Twins by Sara Grand- ag
Hi there. What a nice surprise to find The Heavenly Twins here. I studied it as part of my honours thesis on the New Woman in English Literature a few years ago and enjoyed it very much.
Please put me down for sections 17, 18 and 24. Might grab some more later after I finish these.
Cheers,
Michele

Hi there. Here's Section 5, The Oriolists. Time: 39:38. https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/countessoflowndessquare_05_benson_128kb.mp3 Benson had quite a sense of humour! NB to the PL: on page 107 (around 36:29) of the story, there's a typo: 'iyth instant'. I found another copy of the text in arch...

Hi there. I haven't been on Librivox for a while so Section 5 seems like a good way to reacquaint myself with this wonderful site. Can you please assign it to me.
Thanks,
Michele

Re: grp/fiction Diana Of The Crossways By George Meredith -t
Thanks for explaining Miss Stav. It's not a problem for me to take another chapter if yuna has already recorded ch 17.
In the meantime I'll work on ch 18.
I got a little slowed down by my move from Hong Kong back to Australia. All is in order now with PC, mic etc.
Cheers,
Michele

Re: grp/fiction Diana Of The Crossways By George Meredith -t
Hi there. I thought we had 1-2 months to record our assigned chapters but I see my requested ch 17 and 18 have been unassigned from me. Can you please advise why that is.
Thanks,
Michele

I'll have to let my Lear monologue go, Carolin. Just haven't been able to shake off this cold.

Re: OPEN [MULTILINGUAL] Shakespeare Monologues vol. 13 -ck
Hi Carolin,
I see there's one spot left. Can I claim the following please:
King Lear - Lear - 'O, reason not the need! Our basest beggars'
Thanks,
Michele

Hi Carolin,
I assume I don't need to make any changes to #3. That's my impression from reading your last post anyway.
Cheers,
Michele

Re: OPEN [poetry] Poems by Adam Lindsay Gordon -ck
Here are #3, Podas Okus, and #16, Fauconshawe. BTW, 'podas okus' means swift-footed and was used in relation to Achilles, whose death this poem is about. https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/poems_3_gordon_128kb.mp3 (7:56) https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/poems_16_gordon_128kb.mp3 (10:1) Cheers,...
