Re: (SOLO) The Haunted Hangar by Van Powell - dc

Re: John Forsythe

If you mean this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Modern_Comedy , it wasn't published until 1924, which means we can't record it until 2020 or thereabouts. The previous works were published before 1923.

Re: (SOLO) The Haunted Hangar by Van Powell - dc

11-14 in MW. These chapters remind me of that Howard Hughes biopic a couple of years ago, where he's flying over 30's L.A..
This is so well thought out, I'm wondering if this is a Mildred Wirt pseudonym -- but I don't think she wrote for Hollywood. I'll update the summary, however.

Re: (SOLO) The Haunted Hangar by Van Powell - dc

Thanks, Dave; I accept you as DPL. Chapters 1-5 now available. This is a fun one so far.
Note: there are actually 34 chapters, not 38; I'm not that versed in Roman numerals.

https://archive.org/details/PD_Audio_Short_Stories_May_2018 There's an accompanying e-text to this project, but it landed in Community Audio. Re: [historical fiction] Order Number 11 by Caroline Abbot Stanley - rap

Stav, it's not a gender thing I'm bothered by but that I expected this book to be a serious historical novel; what I've read so far sounds like Gone With the Wind crossed with The Corn is Green --- also known as a 'woman's novel'.
