I fixed the (very odd!) sound error, so that's all set. I'll wait to hear if there's some advice on making it mono. The sound file I currently have in Audacity is definitely on Mono rather than Stereo, so any help from anyone would be much appreciated. Thanks for the close listen!

Hello! Quick question, just to make sure I've got it right before uploading--I have Section 19, and as such read beginning from the top of p. 252 ("THE BATTLE OF THE COWPENS") to the end of p. 258 ("...hurrying feet!"). Should I instead end the recording before beginning the poem...
