Re: [GROUP] A Traveler from Altruria by William Dean Howells-ag

Just wanted to update. Chapter 1 is read, I"m just editing and re-reading portions that I don't like. :)

Re: OPEN Short Poetry Collection 181 - rap

Hello, It's been a while since I did any recording, but I thought I might jump back in and do a bit (since everyone knows teachers have absolutely nothing to do over summer break, right?). Thanks for the opportunity and please let me know if anything is off or not formatted correctly! "On Time" by J...

Thanks! I'll go ahead and apply for Section 6 as well, if no-one else has... :)

Re: [OPEN] Short Science Fiction Collection 052 -alg1001

Hi Christopher, It was a nice reading and a fine contribution to the collection. We don't need to cite the illustrator of the transcriber's note so please remove "Illustrated by Bobolis" at 0.26, the transcriber's note at 23.58-24.11, and "Illustrated by Bobolis" at: 24.17. Please make the edits an...

Re: ~[group]Tales of King Arthur and the Round Table -phil c

Thanks for the welcome!
I'll start with "The Passing of Merlin" (section 7), if you don't mind. As you mentioned, I'm still rather new, so short recordings are best for me. Feels like conquering one at a time and getting some feedback would be the best way to go... :)

Best,
Chris

Re: ~[group]Tales of King Arthur and the Round Table -phil c

I'd be interested in taking part in this recording, if you would have me (well, more if you could stand my accent, lol). I always loved the Arthurian legend and my dad used to have cassette recordings of particular stories which we would listen to over and over on our ~1 hour drive to school. Subscr...

Re: [OPEN] Short Science Fiction Collection 052 -alg1001

I'd like to contribute if I may... This is my second recording for LibriVox so I would appreciate any critique/comments you would care to offer. Also, I'm not sure if it's allowed but I sort-of "voiced" my characters (not drastically, just more of a slight change in my normal voice pattern, save for...

Hi Christopher! Welcome to Librivox! :D Thank you for your contribution with this poem. It's very nicely read and indeed the cough in that place if very appropriate! https://librivox.org/reader/10075 This is your Reader page in the catalog. Notice the "Reader section details" link.
