Re: [Solo History] Edward the Black Prince by Louise Creighton-mas

Hi Pam,

Section 5 is PL OK. Tournaments. I completely forgot about the decadence of tournaments. My head gets so far down into the 18th and 19th centuries that I forget the earlier gems, and I'm glad this has reminded me!

Re: [SOLO] Selected Poems - Siddal-mas

Hi Pam, Three more for PL. I can't imagine more of a contrast to the Black Prince biography than these poems, but that's one of the joys of LV! https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/selectedpoems_02_siddal_128kb.mp3 1.04 https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/selectedpoems_06_siddal_128kb...

Re: [Solo History] Edward the Black Prince by Louise Creighton-mas

Hi Pam,

Section 3 is PL OK, and did a fine job of fitting Cressy into under thirty minutes. I didn't know it could be done so deftly and comprehensibly!

Hi Peter,

Just to let you know I'll be away from my desk for a few days at the start of the week and probably won't PL until I'm back. Happy recording!

Re: [SOLO MIDDLE ENGLISH] Syr Gawayn and the Grene Knight-annise

I have a note for fytte the first - although listening to this has made me realise how long it's been since I read ME, let alone listened to it! 12.31-12.36, p. 9 last line/l. 189, antepenultimate word omitted [] fayre grene, Does the above make sense? I'm not sure how to do PL notes with non-standa...

Book downloaded and all revved up!

Just to let you know, at the start of the week I'll be away from my desk for a few days. Going on my own quest, though not so full of adventure as some of Morris's!
