Re: [SOLO SF/FANTASY] The Young Diana - Marie Corelli-ag

Thank you so much! And thank YOU for DPLing, and for being so patient. I've learned a lot in the process, but it really does feel like this project is an archaeological record of my learning how to record and edit! Corelli is always worth reading, but I am going to take a bit of a break. These longe...

Re: [MEMOIR] History of Mary Prince - jo

Thank you very much, Jo! The shortened file name is great and will be easier to use, too. I hope not to get this off to a bumpy start, but I think I might be missing something. I'm outside the US and can download and view the scan, and I went looking for it because I try to avoid PG if possible. I h...

Re: [SOLO] Childe Harold's Pilgrimage by Byron - KiltedDragon

Section 00 is PL OK.

No worries about 01. And I don't blame you about the Browning! I'm looking forward to hearing you, but it's a bit of a monster. I'm still wrestling with mine, so I can only guess how you're doing.
I'll listen to your other sections later.

Re: [SOLO] History of Mary Prince

Just in case the link is playing up, I've put the pdf on google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CzvI_mGtTuTb-OxYWvIVl737mGOdm9fG/view?usp=sharing The title page is on 8 (of 77). I've guessed at the number of sections I'll need, but this project will be a learning experience for me about spli...

Re: New! Volunteer CD Covers! - cont.

Thank you, Anne, for the cover for Some Verses by Theodore Wratislaw! I had no idea to expect with such a short collection and with a less well known author, but it fits the poem on the back really well.

Re: [SOLO SF/FANTASY] The Young Diana - Marie Corelli-ag

Hi Amy, And just when you thought you were done... the epilogue is ready for PL: https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/youngdiana_26_corelli_128kb.mp3 (16.03) I don't know if you spotted it, but this has been a good month for Corelli. The Life Everlasting has been catalogued this week, and it's all u...

Re: [SOLO SF/FANTASY] The Young Diana - Marie Corelli-ag

Hi Amy, These chapters are getting a bit shorter towards the end of the book, so chapter 25 is ready for PL. The epilogue is really short by comparison, so I'm hoping to get that finished soon, too. That's nothing about PLing, it's just a general warning! https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/youngdi...

Re: [Complete] Some Verses - lt

Thanks for the explanation. I think I get it. I'm sure if I stick around long enough eventually I'll know what I'm doing!

And Pam, thank you for PLing so carefully.

Re: [SOLO] Some Verses - lt

I thought I could alter it, too, but when I tried that on my last solo I did something - I still don't know what - that I shouldn't have. I was under the impression that all changes to the first post, such as any changes to the summary or keywords, had to be flagged for the MC, because those changes...

Re: [SOLO] Some Verses - lt

As this is getting close to cataloguing, I would like to add the following summary and keywords please: Theodore Wratislaw was a fin de siècle poet and a less famous Decadent author than some of his contemporaries. This short collection of verse was first published in 1892. Keywords: Decadence, Vict...
