Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
Fab - 8, 10, 15 and 22 are spot PL OK! With the minor corrections, I will do them if I can get away without recording. It may as well be word perfect if I can manage that, although I have a feeling that Walt probably wouldn't have worried too much about being word perfect. He would have been more wo...

Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
I've downloaded 52 and 18 is spot PL OK, hurrah! With 21 I'm not sure what’s happened – I can see the run time is longer, but I’m not hearing the missing line. Here's the info again so it's all in one place, because I think this thread could get a bit confusing! SM21 – 2.11, p 24, your note 'Smile f...

Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
Cantos 16, 17, 19, 20 are PL OK. Canto 15 6.17, omission, p 18 mid-page Coon-seekers go through the regions of the Red river [or through those drain'd by the Tennessee,] or through those of the Arkansas, Canto 18 – 0.11, p 20, your note 'With music strong I come...' is missing right at the beginning...

Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
Cantos 9 and 11-14 are PL OK. For 8 and 10 I'm not sure how precise you want it to be. I've made two small notes as it's poetry: Canto 8 1.16-1.18, bottom half p 9, extra word The meeting of enemies, the sudden oath, the blows and [the] fall... It’s a lot less noticeable in this as it’s not adhering...

Don't apologise. You're volunteering to record a sizeable book, it won't be finished overnight.

Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
0-3 are spot PL OK. (Nothing personal, it's just better to find out about any glitches that might have crept in now rather than after it's gone to the IA!) 4-7 are PL OK. Listening while PLing is quite a different experience to listening purely for pleasure or learning, but I nonetheless think I'll ...

The two serenades are ready for PL. They're quite short, and if you'd prefer to leave them until I've uploaded more that's no problem at all.

Re: [solo poetry] Three Hills - Owen - icequeen
Thank you for that, Bruce. Section 6 is ready for spot PL with a new intro. I do appreciate you listening with headphones when I suspect that the majority of listeners will probably play it through car speakers or other less finely tuned equipment.

Re: SOLO Song of Myself by Walt Whitman -ans
0-3 are PL OK. As for listing things in the thread, it's okay if you don't. I know it can get a bit fiddly with poetry sections. I always take them from the MW as those are the links that will be used to create the final project that goes to the IA. I had a little look round regarding Canto 3. I'll ...
