Re: [SOLO] Beauty's Hour - Olivia Shakespear-ag

Hi Amy, Finally, finally have time this week to edit the recordings! It's shorter than I thought it would be! It's still interesting and picks up on some of the same themes as The Young Diana, so I hope you like it. Chapters 1 and 2 are ready for PL. https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/beautyshour_...

It'll be nice to have something from 1923 as well. No worries about the time frame, whatever that may be. It ...

Re: [Fortnightly Poem] Vigil Strange I Kept.. by Walt Whitman - dl

Glad you like it, one of my favorites. I'm always surprised it isn't better known. No matter how much Whitman is read, it's always possible to come back to him and be surprised. This is one of those instances, and I'm glad you picked it. Perhaps now it will be better known since there will be so ma...

Re: [SOLO] Lourdes by Emile Zola - dc

I've just checked in on the other thread. There will be a week in July when I'll be out of town, but other than that DPLing should be more or less normal for the summer/winter. Section 25 is PL OK. Hearty congratulations on completing another novel! This would have wiped me out. Glad you liked the i...

Re: [Solo] Sir Walter Ralegh by Louise Creighton - dc

Hi Pam,

Section 17 is PL OK. She does a reasonable job of untangling the claims to the throne, but phew. Tenuous doesn't even begin to describe it.

Section 22 is PL OK. This project is coming along quite well. Do you have anything in mind for your next one?
