Re: ADOPTED ~[Solo] The Cloister and the Hearth by Charles Reade

Can I ask what this "MC welcome" that is coming up everywhere these days is supposed to mean? It's not as if you can do without one. So it's more of a "MC needed", really. And there's no need to mention that one either since most of us have been around for long enough to know that. :P I mean, you'r...

Re: [Grp] The Autobiography of Ben Franklin by Ben Franklin - lt

Here is chapter 5 (9:54): https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/_autobiography_05_franklin_128kb.mp3 At almost the very end, there is a footnote which I opted to include, as the sentence preceding it seemed confusing without it. Of course, I'd be happy to take it out if you prefer. While I'm at it, I...

If you still can't find it then, than create a folder called "librivox" or something on your computer and save the file to that folder. :D <smile>

Re: I can't get uploaded

When you say"Saving is not the one I want", when I am on that screen that first opens up after I hit "export to MP3", there IS no further "export" to hit, ONLY "save". Question: at the top, where it first asks where do I want to save the file TO, I get variations on "Desktop". SHOULD it say somethi...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Cynthia's Revels by Ben Jonson - thw

OK, so I may have made some sense of this. In Act 5 there are these "dances" which are also called masque's. But also, most of the characters go "on stage", and they talk about that, and as they exit the play, they sing a song and exit "the stage in paris". So, some of the characters are watching, b...

Re: Question about BCing and DPLing

They may have missed the post - it does happen sometimes (even to me ). Not knowing any of the personalities involved or the project, I'd either enter the claim and post claim entered thought it might have been overlooked or real life may have caught up on whatever you are comfortable with and/or P...

Re: Question about BCing and DPLing

I do it when the BC disappears. IMHO, it's better to keep a project current when a BC has not responded, for, say, a week or so, especially if it's a fast moving project. How long have they been gone? When did they last log in, and do their last post(s) or signature say anything about being gone fo...

Re: Question about BCing and DPLing

I mean like, they disappeared and didn't say they were going to be gone. Or maybe they haven't gotten to it yet? I just don't want to take the role of the BC, because someone may get upset about doing their job, because who knows, maybe they've been super busy.

Question about BCing and DPLing

I'm not going to use anyone as an example, or point out who has done this, but what happens if you are the DPL of a project, and some claims come in, but the BC hasn't responded for a few days? Do you just wait for them to put in the claims? Is there a limit for how long you should wait before putti...

Can I claim 33?

- Dave
Just making sure someone sees this.
I'm sure Larry (silverquill) has, just hasn't gotten to it yet. He hasn't responded in this thread since June 13th.

Re: [Grp] The Autobiography of Ben Franklin by Ben Franklin - lt

Good afternoon (or evening, or morning, depending on whence you come from)! Chapter 14 (albeit very short) is complete and is identified as https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/autobiographyofbenfranklin_14_franklin_128mb.mp3 Total running time is 5:25 Please advise if any revisions are required.
