Re: Am I allowed to constructively critique a reader?
On the original topic of the thread, you might want to read the entire thread linked under "Feedback" in the FAQ, as well as the entire thread called "What if I suck?". There are hundreds of pages, literally, on this very topic. But what I really want to say: If Merriam Webster i...

Re: Company owner seeking work to record as a team building experience
Oh, one other quick thing to consider... Are your employees under "Work for Hire" employment contracts, for example a contract that says the company owns the copyright to their productions? If so, having them do public domain work during work hours might be a legally complicated issue.

Re: Company owner seeking work to record as a team building experience
As Availle said, any project that has multiple voices in the same production is going to take a significant amount of time to edit and do post production. That's probably not something you'll be able to fit into a "one or two hours each" schedule. Maybe a book of poems? I think having each...

Hi. A corrected version of Chapter 4 is here:

(Length is exactly the same.)
Hopefully the punch ins don't sound too obvious.
Thanks,
Harley.

Also, I'd like to volunteer for section 35, Chapter 15 Geology. It seems like a good compliment to the chapter on astronomy.
Thanks,
Harley.

Re: [GROUP] Four Hundred Years of Freethought, Part I, by Samuel P. Putnam - rap
Yes, we have made progress and I personally am very grateful for it. Back room deals and golf course connections are still being made, however, behind women's backs. I can attest to that personally. At the law firm where I worked as a paralegal for many years, I saw way too many instances of the fe...

Re: Downloading
I'd probably do this with free software called Brasero. But that only works on Linux. My favorite free CD burning software on Windows is InfraRecorder. It does data and audio formats for both CD and DVD, and it's been completely reliable in the many years I've used it. BTW, for books I would look i...
