Re: Christmas Short Works Collection 2022 - tg

Actually, I just patched it up and have re-uploaded the file: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/cswc2022_hollowtreeinn_paine_128kb.mp3

The duration is now 12:13.
The rest of the info remains the same.

Re: Christmas Short Works Collection 2022 - tg

Thanks! PL to come later today. :) I edited my post above to mention a decision I made to omit the last paragraph, which may not be allowed. Please let me know. If it must be included, I can edit and re-upload. Yeah, that needs to be included. I took a quick peek: at least it's worded in a nice way...

Re: Christmas Short Works Collection 2022 - tg

You'll need to use the generic login/password: https://librivox.org/img/login.jpg The forum one doesn't work on the workflow/uploader/Magic Window system. :) (If you ever were a soloist or a BC, you might have had a login for the MW/uploader system. But if that fails, use the generic one.) Thanks f...

Re: Christmas Short Works Collection 2022 - tg

Could someone help? I'd like to contribute a story, but I'm unable to login to the uploader. I'm using the same username and password that I'm using (successfully) to login to the forum, but it's telling me it's invalid. What am I doing wrong? I haven't contributed in a couple years, so maybe I'm &q...

Re: How It Happened by Kate Langley Bosher

I've read this, and it's a good Christmastime story. Carmencita is a lively little heroine (although not quite as spunky as Mary Cary, written by the same author!). When she wants something done, she makes it happen.

Re: books by bm bower

The B. M. Bower books are stories are wonderful! I'm not a big Western fan, but I love her stories and novels about the Happy Family of the Flying U Ranch. Lots of humor along with the drama---NOT shoot-'em-ups, but stories with great characters and situations.

Re: How do you read

Hi and thanks for all the replies. I originally posed the question last year, since then I have tried reading off my Chromebook which works well enough but I have concluded paper is "my way" to go too. It works best for me when keeping notes and reviewing that chapter as I get done. I wri...

Re: Things I will never understand.

I will never understand why the components of making a handmade blanket, quilted or crocheted, is SO MUCH more expensive than purchasing one already made. [sigh] I like to make blankets but the cost of the yarn and especially material is beginning to make these items unrealistic. I wonder if these ...
