Yes! Using spectrum to find the frequency to notch, then notching it. I wrote a program to do this automatically to my satisfaction, so there is one less sort of sound blemish I need to listen for and treat by hand singly as I edit.

Ruth's caution is all to the good. I recommend that you develop trust in certain settings before using them on whole tracks.
