Re: [MULTILINGUAL] First World War Centenary Collections-rut
I saw Binyon's "The Healers" suggested in this thread, but I don't think anybody's taken it yet. May I?

Re: [GROUP]The Seaboard Parish by George MacDonald-annise
Haha Thanks! Up to a week ago, I thought so too! But I guess it's normal to not love your own recorded voice. Since the two of you approve, I shall continue in confidence. :D Now I'm just trying to decide if I really really do or really really don't want to read chapter 3, which hits mighty close to...

Re: [GROUP]The Seaboard Parish by George MacDonald-annise
I'm certainly thinking about it. I'm loving this book! But I did want to wait and see what the DPL thinks of my productive abilities. And shoot, if I could figure out how to keep my dang mouth from smacking, at least in the middle of words where I can't edit it out, that would really be a bonus.

"A twenty minute reading? Pfft. Gimme 30 minutes and I'll have this baby ready to upload."
...and here I am a week later. THAT was an educational experience! Anyway, here's section 4. Let me know if it works!

Re: [GROUP]The Seaboard Parish by George MacDonald-annise
Hey there! I'd really like to try section 4, if I may. I'm in the process of a pretty short role for one of the plays on here, which will be my first recording (besides my 1min test). So I'm not what you'd call experienced, and I'd probably wait until I got my first 50-word reading proof listened be...

Re: OPEN [PLAY] Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand - ek
So I've got the "A Man" lines good to go, but I have two questions about the audience lines. First, is it easier for you if I record them into a separate file (and how ought such a file be named? showname_role_audience_#?) or is it preferable to mix them into the same file? Second, how the...

Re: OPEN [PLAY] Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand - ek
Hey, this will be my first contribution to anything, so apologies if I'm way off on any procedure, but may I do section 38, A Man? I love this play, and I just can't resist a role called A Man. Not to be bold, but since both this role and its attendant All the Audience are exceedingly short, I went ...

Hey LibriFolks!
My name's Jared, just discovered LibriVox a couple days ago, and my one-minute test is currently awaiting judgment. I guess we'll see soon whether I'm worthy to become one of you. In the meantime, pleasure to meet you all! This really seems like a wonderful and important endeavor, so whether or not ...
