Re: Myths of northern lands, by H. A. Guerber - lt

I can take the huge Sigurd Saga (both sections), so we are fully claimed, if you wish. This will take me a bit of time though  It's a quite longer than I am usually used to record. Need lots of breaks for this one

Well read, I just found one tiny thing: at second 14, it's "knouteren" not "knoteren". you're right ! I blame Lentz and his stupid old-fashioned orthography  I corrected that bit at 0:14, the rest stays the same, thank you, Sandra, for your accurate listening https:...

Re: [FULL] Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare - kit

Sooooo I did a quick check and the word "rapine" is another word for "pillage" or "plunder" and the apparently correct British pronunciation (as I assume that's what was heard in Shakespeare's time) is RAP-ighn. so I think Craig said it correctly and I now changed it t...

Re: [FULL] Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare - kit

You know you should never trust my pronunciation! In the UK we walk into a bar and David is sitting in the corner. Hi Dave. Alright David. O'right Dai. How you Davvy. Its not easy. well I changed it now, it was a quick fix. I guess I will never use that word in one of your pubs... :hmm: Sonia

Re: [FULL] Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare - kit

One question further. I know we usually don't worry too much about pronouncing words differently, but I thought I'd better make mention of this. Sonia and Craig are pronouncing "Rapine" differently. Sonia says RAPE-ine and Craig says ra-PEEN. Craig is the native English speaker, I'm not, ...

Re: [FULL][Biography/Music]My Musical Life by Walter Damrosch - kit

I apologize for the mistakes and poor quality of my previous recording of Damrosch Section 4. I have rerecorded it and hope I have resolved most of the difficulties you identify. In editing, I use only voice normalization and clip fixing. Perhaps I also need to adjust the distance between my face a...
