Librivox is 13 years old this month. Hard to believe. I remember the day it was born. We thought it'd be amazing if we ever recorded 100 books, and now we have over 12,000. Thank you, everyone. You are librivox!

Like Tricia, I just jump in. I think it's fun to try to puzzle out what's going on while I'm recording, and I get bored if I pre-read.

And I, too, enjoy the charming little variations that occur in group recordings :)

And please note that the login info for the uploader is NOT your forum login. The instructions for the 1-minute test will give you the correct login, which is the same for everyone. :)

YES. Please don't feel you need to read a book that matches your dialect, age, or gender. Read something that seems like fun to you!
