Re: [SS/ poetry] Stories Worth Rereading by Various authors
I finally got some quiet time, and I finished! Checker passed, no clipping. I don't have any tender feelings to hurt, so by all means if the singing parts don't sound good, please let me know, and I'll re-record them as just speaking. Duration is 17:03 https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/storieswort...

Re: [SS/ poetry] Stories Worth Rereading by Various authors
After editing, I was listening through, and I noticed that--in addition to changing "whenever" to "wherever"--there are about two minutes' worth that I need to completely re-record because of a train horn in the background. :( That's not necessarily a problem... things like that...

Here's section 7, The Poet and the People. https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/monologues_07_middleton_128kb.mp3 Duration is 10:18. I think I fixed all of the wrong words, but let me know! :) Thank you for a very good reading. I have only one technical item for your attention: The volume is too lo...

Re: [SS/ poetry] Stories Worth Rereading by Various authors
Before I get too far, I had a question I need answered. In my section, there are parts that should be sung. I don't mind singing them (I'm in a church choir, I've done solos), but I don't know if Librivox has a policy or convention on singing in a reading (should it be read or sung). Like I said, I...

If it's not already requested, I'll read number 7 "The Poet and the People." It's been a while since last I read for Librivox, but I have a couple of new microphones that I'm trying to find excuses to use. My podcast partner is sick, so I currently have nothing to record or edit.

Re: [SS/ poetry] Stories Worth Rereading by Various authors
I'd like to help get this project out of "orphan" status. :) If it's not already taken, I'd like to read number 91 "The Carols of Bethlehem Center." I haven't read anything for Librivox in a while, but I have a couple of shiny new microphones, and I've been practicing by recordin...

Actually, circumstances will not allow me to record for a while. I hate to do it (because I kinda wanted to read it), but please take my name back off number 19.likefood wrote:I'll read number XVIII (number 19).
