Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 21.

At 06:14 you say Dücas-ne, but at 06:30 and 07:00 you say dücain. That is inconsistent.

At 07:00, did you really only substitute the "pletely" with "fortably"? When a reader doesn't know you had edited it, it's barely noticeable. Amazing. :)

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 21: 01:13 the text reads "we shall never", you read "we will never" 06:14 "Fort Duquesne". In the film Shawshank Redemption, Andy Dufresne (with a similar surname) is pronounced "düfreign". Do you think that this pronunciation rule might apply here, to...

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Indeed he is. I especially liked the part where he invented kite surfing by accident. I did the same this summer, and having a kite drag you through the water is a great feeling. Powerful and still easily controllable.

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 19 PL OK.

If you absolutely must, you can have a look at these three nitpicks:

10:50 Dr. Denham => Mr. Denham
12:55 to the southwest of Boston => to the southwards of Boston
14:50 and etcetera => etcetera

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 17 PL OK.

Section 18 PL OK.

Sections 18 to 21 are missing in the MW due to a server crash. @msfry, could you upload them again? If you need it, I have backup copies of sections 06 to 21.

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 16 uploaded https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/manysidedfranklin_16_ford.mp3 23:25 Section 16 PL OK. Great reading, especially the unorthodox orthography of Mrs. Franklin. :) By the way, section 16 is not yet marked as uploaded in the Magic Window. I’ve marked it as “PL OK” nevertheless.

Re: [SOLO] The Many-Sided Franklin, by Paul L. Ford - tg

Section 14, PL OK. Section 15: 07:48 you read “makers might well be omitted”, the text says “makes(!) might as(!) well be omitted” At the very end you read both “end of chapter six, part three” and “end of chapter six”, which feels redundant to me. You already varied a bit in the previous chapters, ...
