I'm glad this is being used by people, as my involvement with this project is a big part of what eventually led to my disengagement with librivox.

Don’t feel bad – a LOT of folks have been delayed on this project. I am glad to hear you are just about finished up.

Thanks for your work.

Thanks Hugh – I am sure that you are not the only one who has put this on the back burner – and I have not recently lit any fires... but when a few more chapters come in I am likely to push a little harder for completion...

Thanks Meredith,

I am expecting a few orphaned chapters to pop up in the next few months... I will keep you in mind if they do.

Well, it was suposed to be May, but i think a more realistic answer, given the rate at which chapters have been completed is May. I am guessing that others, like myself, have been noticing a significant slowdown during the summer months... so finishing things up in the next few weeks is unlikley I t...

Gesine, It is a misconception that it will take less time to download a chapter when it is split into two, or God forbid more, parts. The amount of data that needs to be downloaded remains the same, or if anything, due to the repetition of the Librivox intro, having multiple parts will take longer d...

Well I apologize for ignoring everyone. I just never got an email telling me there was activity here... so I never bothered to drop in. Someday I am simply going to have to find time for things I enjoy doing again. But that is a different issue. Ok ? to catch up: About splitting files: Don?t do it i...

Two answers: 1) leave it as one large hunk. Keeping track of two files per chapter is already enough of a nightmare... compounding it is not a good solution. Yes ? An hour long chapter may be a lot to deal with in a single sitting as well ? but people will deal. Mostly I will deal. 2) Sticking the i...

Peter ? I have looked at the diagram you posted, and I don?t have a good description for you. The best thing I have come up with is to say that it looks something like a family tree ? but that is not an accurate description either. If I were you I would seriously consider leaving the description of ...

Hej,

My Morfar kommer von Sverge. Unfortunately, no one around me speaks Swedish any more... so despite the year of Swedish I took in college I am afraid that my Swedish is all but gone anymore...

But I would LOVE to hear it again.

For all of you who are feeling behind ? don?t worry TOO much ? I am so behind on my own reading and editing it is for shame ? so I am certainly not going to cattle prod any of you ? as long as you are making progress, I am satisfied. If taking your time makes the difference between a fine recording ...
