Re: Covermakers Chat Thread
My advice would be to create a folder for each cover, and save all your files into it as you go along, including a text document that lists the project # or catalog link, link to the artwork you're gathering, the web address for verification of PD status, and the upload link. It is a time consuming ...

Re: LibriVox and Wikipedia Links (Working Thread)
Thank you though I am not honestly certain just why you sent the list of books to me? It is okay though with me, has me feeling quite important. You must be subscribed to this forum. Generally when you visit a thread it does not subscribe you unless you post something, after which you get not...

Oops you must have uploaded the original, with the old Intro/Outro and faster time. Please try again.tac107 wrote: ↑May 16th, 2024, 6:48 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/brownrottger/ultimatefoundationofeconomicscience_03_mises_128kb.mp3

Re: [GROUP] The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science, by Ludwig Von Mises - brrot
PL Notes to Section 0 As we are citing Chapter #'s rather than Section #'s, excepting for Section 1 which has no Chapter #, I recommend you alter the Intro and Outro to just say: Preface to and End of Preface. Section 1 is PL OK. Thank you for choosing more sections. Your timing and enunciation are...

Re: [GROUP] The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science, by Ludwig Von Mises - brrot
Can I just clarify the assignment a smidge? Chapter 05 begins with "2 The Activistic Basis of Knowledge" and ends with the paragraph that begins "The other branch of the sciences of human action is history", yes? My word count is 3350 and I didn't want to overstep my boundaries....

Introduction is PL OK.
Thank you, Stacey. Nicely read! I wish there was more Hayek to record. He writes well and simplifies von Mises' more theoretical tomes.

PL Notes 01 A superb reading of this difficult material! Thank you, Deborah! Just one item needs your attention due to a change made to the First Post, and a shortening of the chapter title Intro and Outro, please read title, thus: Section 1, "Some Preliminary Observations Concerning Praxeology

PL Notes Sections 2 and 3 Wow, Tatiana, you have read these sections with great clarity and precision, a very difficult task!!! Even so, my brain is about breaking trying to wrap itself around von Mises' concepts. I would need to hit PAUSE a lot, and listen to it many times to grasp them all. But o...
