Thank you, Sonia, I really appreciate the compliment. I'm not so good at accents, especially remaining consistent throughout, but they are fun to try. (My specialty is the anxious, irate, haughty, innocent, conniving, flirtatious or distraught American female. Lemme know if you run across parts like...

Re: [GROUP] Coffee Break Collection #39 - MAGIC lt
The story you mentioned might fit best in the Short Story Collection 109, which you'll find in the current Readers Wanted - Short Works forum. But if it's a murder mystery or a sci-fi tale, it might fit better in one of those. One of my new favorites is the First Chapter Collection (nothing open now...

You begin this one "Chapter VII. Thorndyke Challenges the Evidence. My relations with Thorndyke were rather peculiar," which is actually the beginning of Chapter XII. Did you upload the right file?

Why not the cover of the magazine in the text link? That looks pretty good to me.sjmarky wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2024, 11:23 am Did I do a preclaim for 20329 Recalled to Life viewtopic.php?t=101903 ?
I don't see one, and if so I'd like to withdraw it. I have zero ideas.

Re: any ideas for dinner?
My favorite 8-egg quiche recipe: Break 8 large eggs in a 4 cup measuring cup. Scramble. Fill to the 4 cup line with whatever you have on hand -- grated cheese, chopped veggies, 4 oz of Jimmy Dean sausage (fried) or any other meat like shrimp, cooked chicken, ham bits, etc, a spoon or 2 of fire-roas...

I got it to work. If it gets a stroke doing it one way, try doing it another. A technician told me once to unplug my ill-behaving laptop and remove the battery for a full minute, then restart. Apparently it takes that long for a computer brain to completely clear its cache and "forget&q...
