Re: ~{SOLO/Poetry} Yanks A.E.F. Verse from WWI - kd

Here's another option: Group the poems, let's say three or four (could vary depending on length of poems) so each poem could still be listed in the MW, and hence in the TOC for the completed book. That way the listener can still see exactly what poems are in the book and which section they are in. F...

I'm intrigued by the babyish voices. Will have to look up those readers.
Not for this one, but in another DR I recruited my young grand daughter to do a short role. Came out so nice! Even got her dad in on the act. 8-)

Re: [SCIENCE] Scientific American Supplement, No. 795, March 28, 1891, by Various - thw

I'm enjoying these scientific readings. I would like to do the "Gaseous Illuminants" sections (14,15,16) I have questions about how the charts should be read though. I think it would be confusing for the listener to just read the numbers as they appear, so I was thinking for example the &...

Hope you are enjoying the Drs. They were so much fun. And all of those animal voices! I was born in Medford, Oregon, but grew up in the northeast corner of the state -- Pendleton, then the little town of Milton-Freewater, just across the line from Walla Walla, WA. When I graduated from high school t...

Section 4 completed. https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/sciamsuppl795march1891_04_various_128kb.mp3 6:52 I verbalized the medical abbreviations in full for the "Rx"; hopefully this is ok. But I was not sure of what "ad 120" meant nor how I should say it. Saying "A.D."...

I thought they would be of interest to readers as an insight into the culture of that time. I've added several more sections to give a place for these short article...
