Please confirm the conversion to mono has been successful.
I would love to, but it is still stereo :(

Unfortunately I am not familiar with adobe; is there something like "2 channels" or so while exporting? In Ardour I have to set the number of channels to 1.

Re: 1 minute test yall

Here is a renewed version, paying more attention to the volume limitations. Cheers. Did you re-record it? That wouldn't have been necessary, it is really only the volume and can be edited :). It's getting better, from 94.9 to 94.2 dB, but not in the range, still. :) You can check volume from inside...

The second one, I have a score, but no way to hear the thing. Do you know how hard it is to sight read music without any auditory help? Ugh!
Very much. I double Devorah, if you post the scores you might get help :)

Re: ~[OPEN][Italiano] Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie - kit

saying "a small book" or "a book" is negligible That's what I meant :) let me know as I need to do a spot PL then as well. Noise reduction effects the whole chapter :? I'll only load it up if it's a real benefit. In the first (quick) try it didn't distort the voice, but there was enough chirping le...

Re: 1-minute test

Yes Sir, that's it! Tech specs are all fine now. As you asked extra for it, I tuned volume on my PC a bit louder and discovered some noise from a fan or so (probably the PC), so if you'd like to be the next audio-book-star, you might want to use some booth or dampening device or so, but it ...

> at 8:52: I deleted the stumble "di -- di". I think we can leave "libro", since it's the same than "libricino". Not quite afaik, but I think we can leave it, the meaning isn't changed that much. I must admit there are quite a lot of plosives, the sound is not extremely agreeable, :? I agree, I can...

Re: 1-minute test

SO (wav export, no mp3), Ah, ok, I see :) Do you know of any converters that changes the bitrate aswell as the file extension? I use this one: http://soundconverter.org/ I am working on Linux, though and I think soundconverter is not available for win. But Movavi should do the trick; it would be un...

Re: ~[ITALIANO] Le Rime di Dante - rap

I edited the file for the c'hanno and mixed it down to mono. https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/rime_009_alighieri_128kb.mp3 1.11 Only, I found another error: the intro states "sezione sette" instead of number 9. As I am no man, I think it is not really good to read the intro myself, that woul...

Re: One Minute Test - Super excited to finally be here!

Thank you for your feedback, Moe (and sorry that it slipped through first )

There seems to be a different solution, if you like to have a look:

But we for sure are curious what solution Mac has to offer.

Re: Please Listen 1 Min Test

:hmm: You cut out that bump in the beginning which is good; the volume is still at 76.8 dB :) We definitely need something around 89 +- 3 dB. Imagine, somebody listens to your section and adjusts the volume that he can hear it quite well and then the next section comes with 95 dB or so  Tages...

Re: 1-minute test

Do you export from Studio One or use a converter afterwards? I am not familiar with this Studio One, but there is a test marked ok where a volunteer uses that program and I asked him whether he can help you :) It is Matt Another Volunteer changed to Audacity, but as long as there is a way to get you...
