Re: uploadfilter/eu urheberrechtsreform 2018

Boah.

Re: [PHYSICS] "My Inventions" and Other Works by Tesla - availle

Hi there, I am still alive and battling against the knots in my tongue ;) I have a recording but am actually thinking of re-recording it at the moment - too many glitches.

Re: [OK]1 minute test

I have a question that's off this topic - tell me if I should ask someplace else Oh, it's fine here, I guess we'll all survive ;) As annise says, take whatever you like from the readers wanted section :) Something short for the beginning is a good idea. That's why I think it was tovarisch suggested...

Re: [OK]1 minute test

Now I think I can back off a bit from my Samson mic and not strain to produce so much volume. Also, I'm planning to experiment with a condenser mic and that may improve everything. Oh, the Samson is fine. I don't want to hold you off from getting a condenser mic if you desire, but it probably isn't...

Re: [OK]1-Minute Test for JNFletcher

I fail to hear any noise problems listening with good headphones. I wouldn't have mentioned it if I hadn't heard it. ;) Only to make sure that there is no misunderstanding: the test is marked ok. Checker sometimes acts strange on marking background noise, in both ways. I mentioned the noise because...

Re: (Grp/music) Stories of Symphonic Music by Lawrence Gilman - lt

Section 9, Converse is PL ok :) On 10:27 in "hark! some wild trumpeter," there is missing "wild", but there is definitely no need to fix it, I mention it only in case you want to be word-perfect (as far as I even hear it...) ;) I wouldn't even have noticed if I didn't read along. Wonderfully read :9...

Re: (Grp/music) Stories of Symphonic Music by Lawrence Gilman - lt

I've succumbed to temptation and re-recorded a few phrases and re-uploaded. Just to double-check - you only re-recorded those spots, not the whole thing? I spot checked the places. Perfectly edited in and still PL OK ;) CONVERSE: Thank you :) I'll hopefully give it a listen later on this day.

Re: 1-Minute Test for JNFletcher

Welcome at LibriVox, JN :) Tech specs are fine and well read  That is your first PL ok , go record some more interesting stuff than Peter Piper ;) You might want to work on the noise a bit; I trust you that you can handle it on your own but of course you may also come back here and ask if you ...

Re: 1 minute test

Welcome at LibriVox, Liz :) Checker's fine, I am fine, only don't get any louder :). The file is PL ok , have fun recording some "real stuff". ;) You might get some noticeable plosives and difficulties to amplify into the right range, because you read very lively, at more interesting recordings than...

Re: xu88ux's 1-Minute Test

Welcome at LibriVox, xu88ux :) Beautiful warm voice :9: and clear reading  The things we need to work on are: The recording is in stereo, we need mono . You can fix this while exporting with setting the checkmark at "force export to mono" http://cisdem.de/librivox/AudaCity_2_2_pics/export.png ...

Re: Please listen!

Welcome at LibriVox :) The tech specs (bitrate etc) are all fine. :) The only thing we need to work on is the noise. It can be lessened with the noise reduction tool (I did two brushes with noise reduction 11 dB, sensitivity 6 and frequency smoothing 2 without disturbing your voice) but it would be ...

Re: 1 minute test

Welcome at LibriVox, BookBro :) Well read, very clear and understandable  There are only a couple of technical things that need to be fixed: The recording is in stereo, we need mono . You can enforce it with setting the checkmark while exporting to mp3 if you use Audacity: http://cisdem.de/lib...
