Re: 'Thank You' messages for LibriVox readers - continued

Great to see these books still helping people! It seems a lifetime ago we all started this endeavor. This was an early early book as you can imagine. Hope all are well. Praise received for the readers of the group project for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland from our 'Thank a reader' feature : Over ...

Re: Librivox hits front page on Reddit

Good to see you too Kara. I loved how in the comments they were talking about you. This is such a great accomplishment what we have done here. Still amazes me. I tell people about it all the time. New site redesign is really clean without losing the vintage feel. Congrats to all!

Re: LibriVox Community Podcast Planning

Great job on the Podcast. I joined on October 25th, 2005 and was responsible for the theme songs you still use in the podcast. I did a few chapters and a solo project. I still pull a book or two down a year, and still feel responsible for a small bit of the success. So proud of my old friends, Hugh,...

I still love Librivox too! I was happy to hear my accoustic guitar remix theme Cori used in the podcast #80 today, it made me nostalgic. I am still so busy that reading (for myself or for librivox) is a luxury. Keep up the good work. 1,500... wow.. who would have thought it a few years ago. \ Brad

OK, as part of March Madness, I thought I would finish one more theme... by request from Hugh, here is a free jazz version (or as close as I get). I did it in a minor key, and had to modify the melody just a bit at the end, but hey, thats art ;-) http://download.yousendit.com/8913EA9B453D0DCC Brad

Listener Praise for Call of the Wild

I am almost done with "Call of the Wild" (an old LibriVox classic - has librivox.blogsom.com as the URL ;-) and I must say, this is so well read and such a wonderful book, that it made me happy all over again about LibriVox. Thanks again to the readers (Gordon, Kristen, Jean and Miette). I...

Kristen, I have been out of town. Do you want just the melody, or the melody and chord voicings? The different versions have some different chords.

Thank you CM and Jim (and you too Hugh) for your suggetstions and comments on the themes. Well, at one time, I knew how to put stuff on Archive.org, and I had a log in to the Wiki, but I had forgotten all of that!! Thanks for updating it for me. I have a full little computer-based studio in my offic...
