Re: ~ [OPEN] Short Story Collection Vol. 054 - rg

Sword of Welleran length now 42:30, size 39.1 mb, fixed all the below. Corrected version uploaded to http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/shortstory054_welleran_jb2.mp3 [*]14:34 - "the horse of Rollerie" - the word "horse" is really garbled and unintelligible. [*]16:23 - "after a while, one ...

Re: [POETRY] Short Poetry Collection 116 - tg

Great, so should I do them both on the same recording or as separate recordings?

Re: [Ireland]The Story of Ancient Irish Civilisation -ba

I just found the "Phil's videos" of which you speak. Extremely helpful. Thanks for the hint they existed.

I do have a couple book solos planned, but no hurry. PL a few times, do a few anthology contributions, get the hang of Audacity a little better, then solo on some unrecorded Dunsany.

Re: [Ireland]The Story of Ancient Irish Civilisation -ba

Chapter 13 needs one easy edit. 11:06-:15 is a missed edit. That's it! :D Snipped it out. Length is now 12:15, and file size is 11.2 mb. Location should be the same, I think. Any other comments on recording or reading technique are welcome offline. Hard to learn from your mistakes if you never hear...

Re: [POETRY] Short Poetry Collection 116 - tg

I have an idea that's a bit unorthodox, so I thought I'd check first: What about doing side by side readings of poems in Alice in Wonderland and the originals of which they were parodies? Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Are_Old,_Father_William and the original by Robert Southey: http://en....

Re: [Kids] Children's Short Works Coll Vol. 018 - avs

Sorry about that. I have been having some trouble with audacity lately. Sometimes when I do a recording and listen to it, I find there is an annoying little "chh" sound while I speak. I have found that turning down the volume usually helps, but I guess I turned it down too low this time. I still fe...

Re: ~ [OPEN] Short Story Collection Vol. 054 - rg

Chu-Bu and Sheemish by Lord Dunsany is PL OK.

No comments, except to say it was quite nicely done and motivated me to take a swing at another Dunsany tale. Levels, pacing, and so on were all as needed.

Re: ~ [OPEN] Short Story Collection Vol. 054 - rg

I'll volunteer to prooflisten Chu-bu and Sheemish. It's my first time, but I've found the wiki pages on prooflistening and it's a short one.

I'm also willing to read a short story, "The Sword of Welleran" by Dunsany, perhaps?
