Re: Changing tonality and voice between sessions

Using the new setup, it takes the mic out of the equation. To handle actual changes in voice, I have completed some 22 seamless edits, by these methods using Audacity: -to pitch up your voice, use Effect, Pitch and Tempo, Change speed. I've used 1-3% -to ptich down your voice, you can use Change Pit...

Re: Changing tonality and voice between sessions

Hello, I have tried some of the tips presented. My current setup has the mic on an arm, level with my nose and as close as convenient, which is about 4". I now have a chair and look slightly down to read. This is much more comfortable as I can easily see the screen. The chair is against a wall ...

Changing tonality and voice between sessions

Hello, I have tried hard in my latest project to create consistent, distinct voices. Despite what I considered a fairly good performance, my equipment let me down. Try as I can, I can't get my voice to sound the same between sessions, let alone days. Is this an issue you experience yourself? Perhaps...

Re: Any experiene with OcenAudio?

I liked that it was simpler, but it always crashes in a few minutes for me. I wish it worked.

Re: Comments on youtube

I find the comments interesting, good and bad. It's hard to find a good source of opinions on voices. I researched this, and the only thing I could find was that a baritone voice with content below 80 Hz universally rated higher in attractiveness. I'd like to set up a survey someday with voice sampl...

Re: Human Read vs Computer Generated (TTS) Audiobooks

I came here because I was curious as to people's impression of computer voices. I may be one of the few to know about this, but there is a way to add emotion to a computer voice. There is a standard notation called SSML which can change the pauses, pitch, speed and volume for words. Making these cha...

Re: Adobe's Enhance Speech is a FREE AI-Powered Audio Tool

I have tried it with mixed success. It seemed amazing at first. The demo they provide seems like a miracle. I tried it on one of my bad recordings and it worked wonders. However, I then tried it on a higher quality recording, and it degraded the quality noticeably. You can listen to my sample here: ...
