I've noticed an issue. This seems to be a different version of chapter 1, roughly starting at page 6: https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/towertreasure_01_dixon_128kb.mp3 This seems to be a different version of chapter 2, roughly starting at chapter 3: https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/towertreasure_0...

Re: (Kids Fiction) Billie Bradley and the School Mystery by Janet Wheeler - m8b1
Did you re-record this? If not, there must have at least been some editing. I was looking to find one of the places you noted in your above notes, to make sure it wasn't a repeat (I could not find it in this or the original recording), and I found a piece of text in the incorrect place at 4:46 - an...

Re: (Kids Fiction) Billie Bradley and the School Mystery by Janet Wheeler - m8b1
Most of these things would not fall under standard PL, which is generally what group projects have. If you were doing a solo, you could ask for "Special PL", and specify what you want the PL'er to note. Sorry for the misunderstanding, that's my own quality checklist, regardless of the sta...

Re: Making your reading sound Great
I did some tests. I think I figured out that I had moved. I found the best placement for a sound I like. I also took the tips I researched, and used a conversational voice. Those voice tips made it so simple, just need to write down the voice attributes you used. Thanks!

Re: Making your reading sound Great
Hello Librivox community, I have been browsing this topic looking for tips to improve my recordings. I was interested in a post by lurcherlover, however the dropbox link had expired. Do you still have that tutorial, Mr. Lurcher? I have just submitted my second recording, and I'm learning as I go. Th...

Re: (Kids Fiction) Billie Bradley and the School Mystery by Janet Wheeler - m8b1
What kind of errors? I did not hear any repeats or stumbles. We tend to be our own worst critic. I would focus on improving as you go along with further recordings. :-) Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am not feeling critical, I'm just the type that if I do something, I do it right. Many pe...
