Re: [OPEN] Miscellaneous Poems by James Russell Lowell -ck

Sure, it can be French as well. Then you don't pronounce the s at the end. And you would put the stress here: biblio'Latres. Basically you can do it the way you feel it's right :) Sonia Yeah. I have decided it is English, just using -res instead or -ers, like theatres/theaters. That's my story and ...

Re: [OPEN] Miscellaneous Poems by James Russell Lowell -ck

Re: [Weekly Poetry] Midsummer by William Cullen Bryant - dl

107... That's not my recording length, but today's temperature. Ugh.
And for you Celsius people, that's about 42°.

PS-I'd record this particularly germane poem, but went to dentist yesterday, and mouth hasn't recovered yet.

All sections PL-OK.

Great job, reading, y'all.

Let's wrap it up.

(That was the first Horatio Alger book for me. I had heard of 'em, but never read 'em.)

Re: [Group] Helping Himself by Horatio Alger, jr. - phi

Whoops. Had to take most last week and weekend off (spring break plus annual music/film festival in town). Plus for some reason, I wasn't getting notified of new posts here. So I'll be doing my best to catch up. It may take through the weekend. Who knows, you guys might be done reading by then (yes,...

Re: [Group] Helping Himself by Horatio Alger, jr. - phi

Section 10 : Hi. The starting silence is more than 1.0 second. It needs to be less than 1.0 second. This sounds picky, but it is part of the "rules." Note that the stated "fomula" is that the starting silence should be between 0.5 to 1.0 seconds. In fact, most MCs that I know pr...
