I have, but I'll probably end up having to MacGuyver something together. It also plugs into the USB port on my computer, but that's too far away to produce any really good sound.

My specs haven't changed, but the way I hold my mic (since I have no stand) sometimes changes, which could be the reasoning. I'll try to do a much more steady grip when recording chapter 1.
