Re: [SOCIOLOGY] History of Prostitution by William Sanger -

Sorry about that. I should have looked it up. Thanks very much for the advice on how to edit it, it's so specific and will be of great help. I haven't recorded anything here for a while and it seems the file did not save properly in Audacity. I don't know if there is a way of recovering it or not. I...

Re: [Kids] Children's Short Works Coll Vol. 018 - avs

Ok, I amplified it a little and used a notch filter on audacity (but just the one that does a general sweep of the whole file, I did not pick particular peaks or anything). I think it sounds a little better, but I am not sure. Thank you aravis and JB for the help:) http://upload.librivox.org/share/u...

Re: [Kids] Children's Short Works Coll Vol. 018 - avs

HI darkhorse21! Thanks a lot! :D The Dummy that Lived: the volume is a little too low. (79dB) It would be great if you could amplify your recording a little. Sorry about that. I have been having some trouble with audacity lately. Sometimes when I do a recording and listen to it, I find there is an ...

Could you please also post the link to the text you read from and birth year - death year of the author?
Sorry about that aravis! The text link is:

And the birth and death dates are: 1856-1919.

Re: [Group] Tales From Dickens by Hallie Erminie Rives- phi

I have a confession to make: I started working on the section before getting the go-ahead  Sometimes I get on a roll, and I just like to keep going... Though there are a couple projects I got dropped from because I was distracted with school and other things. I should be going full tilt for...

Re: [Group] Tales From Dickens by Hallie Erminie Rives- phi

I would like to read the introduction please. Certainly and welcome to this 'Dickens' of a project. The introduction is actually the last section in this project, is that OK? It is about Dickens as a writer and family man. http://www.anchoredbygrace.com/smileys/mgpropeller.gif Totally ok :) Makes n...
