Re: The all-new "HELP! I have an Audacity problem" thread

I'll have a go, Tanisha, till the rest of Librivox wakes up and you can get answers from people with the same software as yours. And who know more. I didn't set Audacity up, my distribution did. It also installed up to date audio software, pipewire. These are my settings. I'm still using Audacity 3....

Re: [Solo History] The Renaissance and Reformation by Emmeline Tanner-mas

Hi Pam,

Section 8 is PL OK. But all this little territories being swapped among so many short-lived, megalomaniacal warrior rulers .....my mind reeled. But I have a suspicion that you were on top of events.

Re: Geek Achievements Thread

The things we do to ourselves. I was updating my desktop environment yesterday (Plasma 6, hooray!) I had to log out of comfortable Plasma 5.7.something into a command line in the darkness below. With a thrill of horror, I realised I couldn't remember my username. Muscle memory helped me restart. Tur...

Hi Pam,

Section 19:

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/earlydiaryvol2_19_burney_128kb.mp3

This section repeats some contents of Fanny's diary for Mr Crisp. I thought it best to go along with the text rather than to edit it. Let me know if you think otherwise.

Hi Pam,

Section 7 is PL OK.

All war and rumours of war in that section. I could not keep up, except that we all know that the Scots are still lamenting Flodden.

Re: 1000 recordings to hear before you die

I'm happy when someone also is interested in this book like me. I keep this book available on my desk during my high school study hall and encouraged students to at least glance through it to see that there's more to music than Justin Bieber or the latest "Glee" album. I opened a...
