Re: I’ll play non-copyright music for projects
Oh, ok, understood. Thanks for the quick reply. I might respond to one of the Christmas music requests.

I’ll play non-copyright music for projects
Hi, I’ve been an enthusiastic listener for years. I’m also a musician, overly eclectic but decent, and I play with like-minded people. I play American, Irish, and British fiddle tunes (on fiddle, banjo, guitar, etc), old Mexican and Swedish tunes, old (early 1900s) jazz and blues, and freeform jazzy...

Re: How to delete Librivox books from iphone Librivox app?
Well, that was helpful. I simply deleted the app and saved 600 MB. The next book I listen to I'll reload it, if it seems useful. Not that hard.
Thanks,
K

How to delete Librivox books from iphone Librivox app?
I have an iphone 6 and have the Librivox app. I love the app, I love the books, of course, but when I'm done with a download I want it to go away, I want its electrons to return to wherever they came from. I can painstakingly delete each downloaded chapter but the book is still cluttering up my Libr...

Hi, many thanks for doing this. I've sample listened and can tell I'm going to enjoy your reading. I was reading it myself but lost my book at about chapter 39. Can you tell me if there is someway to download all the MP3 files, as there is with most books on Librivox, so I can put it on my ipod? Tha...

Copyright question on pulp sci-fi.
Hi everyone, I just discovered that librivox offers a surprisingly large selection of sci-fi from the 50s by writers like Philip K Dick and Isaac Asimov. I'd assumed that everything we read needs to be from before 1922 or so. Could someone explain this to me? (And I'm betting that this is a common q...

I'd like your advice on books to listen to. Love Henry James
My header says most of it. I started on Librivox with Henry James and Edith Wharton and those two are still high on my favorites list, though I've ventured happily into Mark Twain and Dickens (A Child's History of England). As much as I enjoyed James and Wharton after seven or eight of their books I...

Re: iTunes scrambles the chapter order when I play on my ipo
I can't believe I didn't think of this. You guys are right, it was on Shuffle. Doh! Thank you so much. Now Dickens' Children's History of England is coming out as Charles intended it.

[FIXED] iTunes scrambles the chapter order on my ipod
Does anyone have an idea about this? It's pretty frustrating and sometimes borderline dangerous (I'm driving along happily listening to House of Mirth, the chapter ends and we go to the LAST chapter, in which too much is revealed, and I'm tempted to fiddle with my ipod while driving....) Here is my ...

Hello from the dried out hills of California
Thanks to many fine readers here, including Nicholas Clifford, Brenda Dayne and Elizabeth Klett, I've become hooked on Librivox and listen to books every day while building musical instruments. I'm too busy right now to put some time back in, but soon I'll want to be a volunteer test listener. I als...
