How is Cimberton pronounced?
“Simbert’n” I think, with the stress on the first syllable. (That’s what I did for the stage directions, anyway).

Re: Informal survey

French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin (classical and medieval), Japanese, English, as well as several books of English slang. And, no, I don't speak many of those.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Conscious Lovers by Steele - thw

Narrator acts 2, 3, 5 ready for spot PL. I've amended the things requested, but not the optional points since, as we discussed, most of those depend on decisions to be taken during final editing - and I've deliberately recorded these to give Todd some options in case he needs them. https://librivox....

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Conscious Lovers by Steele - thw

Here are the remaining stage directions for your listening delight. In several places it's not entirely obvious which lines are to be read as 'aside', so there may be points at which I've read the actor's name where it will turn out not to be needed. It doesn't help that sometimes the stage diection...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Conscious Lovers by Steele - thw

Since there only a few words of the song included, I suspect that Tomas will only start the beginning in a sing-song and then it would be nice to include the stage directions to specifiy that he goes on singing > at 17:48 : "aside to Sir John" – here you c...

I did read the epilogue "just in case" so feel free to ignore it.
That's lucky. I didn't read the epilogue as Steele says it is "intended to be read by Indiana". Editing act 5 now.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Conscious Lovers by Steele - thw

Here's the narrator for act 1. The recording length is 18:17, of which 14:40 is the introductory material, and only 3:37 the actual stage directions! https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/consciouslovers_narrator_1_128kb.mp3 This is what Todd has asked for the introductory text: Please read all text f...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Rocket by Arthur Wing Pinero - thw

Here's the narrator, act 1, coming in at 20:13. (Please ignore first upload - I forgot to chop down the silence at the end to 5s). https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rocket_narrator_1_128kb.mp3. I've corrected typos in the text as best I can. I'm omitting some of the very simple stage directions th...

Only one small editing at the end of Act 5: you forgot to say "translated by Henry Thomas Riley" all at the end
OK, I didn't know the translator was needed at the end as well. Added now anyway, and re-uploaded:
