Greetings -

Section 2 is well read and entered in the realm of PL OK.

Wow! The barring out of a school makes some of the things I did in my youth seem seriously petty.

Re: SOLO Rhyme? And Reason? by Lewis Carroll - lt

Thanks very much for the feedback. I've noted the file naming convention, and will make sure that I use sequential numbers for future uploads. I've re-uploaded section 3, based on a target normalisation of 0 dB in ReplayGain. I hope that’s better. I would like to be able to use Checker, but since I ...

Re: Christmas Short Works Collection 2018 -ans

Greetings - Section 6 was well read and has been marked PL OK. Interesting story. It is on my list to read more of it. Michael, I enjoyed your pictures of the Bekonscot Model Village. I admire all the artistry that has been put into creating it. Lomond Thanks Lomond. We used to go to Bekonskot regu...

Re: SOLO Rhyme? And Reason? by Lewis Carroll - lt

Hi Lynne I've done the dedication, just to get myself started. Could you check that I've done it correctly, please? The BC login seems a bit confusing, as half the time it gives me an error message when I try to do anything. Am I right in thinking that I should login as BC, then go to the upload pag...

Re: OPEN [PLAY] An Ideal Husband, Oscar Wilde - kit

Here's section 3 (narrator Act 3). 13:06 https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/idealhusband_narrator_3.mp3 There were three or four obvious typos in the text (eg at the end of the Act, " . . . and lights his a cigarette "), which I've silently corrected. Also, right at the end, "Act Drop" rather than "...

Re: OPEN [PLAY] An Ideal Husband, Oscar Wilde - kit

Hi Beth, I'll see what I can do this evening. There are a lot of 'small' stage directions, some of which include actions or stage business ( Mrs. Marchmont. [Shaking her head.] . . . ). while others do no more than indicate how the line is to be delivered ( Lady Basildon. [Languidly.]. . . ) If it's...

Re: SOLO Rhyme? And Reason? by Lewis Carroll - lt

Could I just check the intro wording? As the book isn't divided into numbered chapters, instead of reading

Chapter [number] of Rhyme? And Reason?

at the beginning and end of each section, would it be OK if I said

[Poem title] from Rhyme? And Reason?

, by [author], read for LibriVox dot org by [your name]". It's still fine, but if you get the chance to change it, it will be nice for consistency :) I've re-recorded the start of Eddi's Service with the shortened dislcaimer and have re-uploaded under the same filename https://librivox.org/uploads/...
