I have done a few collections like this and simply---rather arbitrarily---decide on a number of poems for each section and then charge on. Alan, now we know both the word count and have an idea of the cast's speed of talking I'm pretty certain acts 2 and 4 (both longer word count than act 1) will need to be split into two parts while acts 3 and 5 (both shorter word count than act 1) will probably be okay so when you do the stage direc...
