A dramatic ending to part 4! I may be reading too much into what I've read so far (actually you have read) but I feel like Conrad has structured this book, in part to, to show off his considerable writing prowess.

I'm getting seriously hooked on this book. It's hard to believe it was serialized in 1912. I would have guessed later. Certainly relevant to recent events on Wall Street!

As this book is written in the first person, your reading makes me feel as if the author were relating his experimental results directly to me. Any breathing sounds seem quite normal.
