Re: The all-new "HELP! I have an Audacity problem" thread

Is it as audible as a normal Librivox recording, like from the catalogue? If so, it could be a display issue. If it's quieter than a normal Librivox recording, then you probably need to make it so that the waveform peaks around the 0.5 mark, either by increasing the microphone's input volume before ...

Thank you for the feedback, M!

I have uploaded Chapter 2, I used a "without" from another sentence, hopefully it sounds smooth enough.

11 and 20 are both PL OK! I did notice a word substitution if you think it worth fixing, in section 11 at around 3:40, text is "on the Ox’s horns", recording has "ears" instead. I don't remember if we discussed it before: did you want the list of contents included with the summar...

Great! You've been busy!!

Add more sections in the Magic Window so you can then enter your final files in the Magic Window to mark them Ready for PL. You can also move sections around with your mouse (drag and drop), so you can place the final sections at the top of the Magic Window.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong

I'm not sure, but I see that the text is the same with the 1925 edition used at Distributed Proofreaders, so it looks like it's a facsimile.

PS. Oh! It says "Copyright 1925" on that second page, so yes it's fine

Hi Alan! Thank you for this satiric caricature of a poem :D I noticed just one word substitution, as an optional edit at around 3:27, text is "For all the glory your conversion brought", recording has "conversation". I'll mark PL OK, but feel free to re-upload, if you choose to f...

Re: OPEN Short Poetry Collection 250 - rap

Hi Jim! Thank you for your beautiful rendition of Poe's Raven! If you are available for some edits, the most important is the intro at the beginning. For the poetry collection, we go with something shorter, see details in first post. For this recording, you can say "The Raven by Edgar Al...
