Check the ending silence. If I'm not mistaken, the Checker checks for the background noise in the last 5 seconds that are supposed to be room silence. Comparing the two files, to me the first one sounds crisper (more treble), the second one is more muffled (more bass). If you are still waiting for more gear, give that another a try too, as it's important to hit the right volume.
