Re: [OPEN] Multilingual Short Works Collection 036 - Poetry & Prose - thw

I have a few questions. Given that this volume is drawing to a close, I figured I may ask them now, seeing as one of them relates to one of my sections. I'll just add the rest :) 1. One of my submission for this volume has the author who is known under two versions of his name (that was the "Zi...

Re: ( solo) Argonauts of the Western Pacific by Bronisław Malinowski-ans

I was asking more about whether I can pick and choose which footnore to read, based on whether I find them interesting (i.e read one which I find interesting, then skip another which I find boring). Also, thanks for the examples because I'm thinking about reading a short introduction-type text for a...

Re: ( solo) Argonauts of the Western Pacific by Bronisław Malinowski-ans

What are the rules concerning footnotes? Given that I haven't read any in the chapters so far, can I now pick and choose which ones to read, or should I omit them entirely for the project to be consistent?

Re: Greetings!

Hello and welcome :) I can see that you already submitted your 1 minute-test and got feedback. That's the first step taken  Depending what language you want to record in there's a variety of projects waiting, either in the English-language sections or in the Multilingual Collections (we curr...

The previous solo has just been cataloged, so I can now focus on this one. Finally some prose

Re: [Complete] Pan Balcer w Brazylii by Maria Konopnicka - lt

I have corrected the summary and changed the title on both the catalog and archive pages. Please check I have done this correctly 8-) It look OK to me  Thank you. I checked some audiobook shops I use, didn't find this recorded, so or it's never been done, or it's rare. The book itself seems...

There is, thanks for catching it, Nina. Corrected  Thank you to both of you for sticking with me  Also, I see you picked the original title ("Brazylji") (see our PM exchange). That's OK, just be aware that the files all have "Brazylii" in their names. I will update...

Re: [Solo] Pan Balcer w Brazylii by Maria Konopnicka - lt

The text only has "ż", so we don't really know what the word was supposed to be according to this text :) W skanie jest iz, ale to mala roznica i nie zmienia sensu zdania a zrodlo ktore podales, to transkrypt, nie skan. Wieczorem odslucham i bedzie gotowe! https://polona.pl/item-view/3e04...

Re: [Solo] Pan Balcer w Brazylii by Maria Konopnicka - lt

Section 31 has been corrected, except for 28:19. The text only has "ż", so we don't really know what the word was supposed to be according to this text :) My voice sounds different in the edits but right now, in this last chapter, I can't bring myself to care enough to wait for my current ...

I'll fix those tomorrow, meanwhile pan Balcer&co meet "envoys" from the old country and together finally sail back home.
