Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Funeral: or Grief A-La-Mode by Richard Steele - thw

Messy scene. Phonetic writing of accented language can be very confusing to interpret - I have had to give up some roles where I could not figure out what I was saying. But I think Sonia's interpretation is good here.

Looks like you need an MC. I'll set this up. EDIT: MW is ready.

And might I play Sparkish?

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Trelawny of the Wells by Pinero - thw

Sonia, I have been unhappy with my recording setup since my move. Although I have very much enjoyed being able to record directly to Audacity with the new computer and a USB mic (instead of uploading every file from my handheld Sony), I have had varying sound quality: sometimes okay, sometimes echo-...

Re: [GRP]Pinero, Playwright by Hamilton Fyfe - thw

[] However, more worrying, I've noticed that the writer Fyfe, died in 1951 and so I am wondering if he is yet PD in the UK? I've only recorded a couple of minutes so far but would hate to find later that I can't record it as he is not PD. Peter Drat. You are correct, probably not PD for you. I miss...
