Glad to see that my co-MC is staying on top of things while real life work has be somewhat overwhelmed. [crosses fingers] Hopefully things...

Stav, my apologies. There are quite a number of sections that need some amplification or editing or both, and I've not had time to do it because of a heavy work load every day for the last week or so. I am working on it, and will get it done as soon as possible. I also want to get this finished and ...

Have to be careful about PD Australia, though. Their copyright laws are different than the US ones. Quite a bit of what appears at PG Australia is still copyright in the US, because of the (effectively) 95 year copyright for works created between 1923 and when the US signed the Berne convention and ...

Okay, I found Media Join 2.0 on CNET's Download.com web site. Click on this URL http://www.download.com/MediaJoin/3000-2141_4-55939.html?tag=mncol for the CNET details page where you can download it. It was submitted back in 2005, so I'm guessing it's evolved into one of the other Mystik Media produ...

Re: Updating my catalog page?
How do I get the URL removed from my catalog page? It was a link to my youtube account, which I have closed. Alana Done. :) Jim Note that this only applies to current and future projects, and your reader catalog page. Any already cataloged works would have to have the link changed (or removed) by h...

I use a freeware program on Windows called MediaJoin from Mystik Media ( http://www.mystikmedia.com/ ) to join audio files. It allows you to select one of four different output formats (mp3, ogg, wav and wma). If you want some other format, I use another freeware converter called Spesoft Audio Conve...

No wiki page that I know of, but for group projects, long disclaimer on all sections with no exceptions. Solos must use the long disclaimer on the first section, short disclaimer is acceptable for all sections after the first; however, a soloist may elect at their discretion to use the long disclaim...

You could try podiobooks.com (http://www.podiobooks.com). Most of their works are released under Creative Commons licenses, but there are some PD works there. And good luck with your book!

Hmm... I think my notifications are broken again. Anyway, MW is updated now. Paul, hope you don't mind - I went into your folder and renamed the file. Not at all...I really should go into the database and make you the MC, and move the files into your folder. :P But we'll leave things as they are. F...

We generally suggest that new readers start out with something short, either a piece of poetry (the weekly poetry project is usually quite short), or a short story for one of the many short story collections, all of which can be found in the Readers Wanted: Short Works forum. After that, it's probab...

If we get to choose can I be Derek Jacobi - I love his Brother Cadfael readings ? Anne Ooh... I didn't know he read the audiobooks... but I loved him as Brother Cadfael in the series. I'm not sure there is anything that he could be in that I wouldn't enjoy, just because he was in it. When I read th...
