I have been reading it that way, without realizing that I had not stated it that way in the listing. I should actually have the listing be correct also, since Shelagh will be PLing this. I will make the edit as soon as I post this. :D I figured that you probably had been, but unless it's spe...

Okay, Magic Window's up. Alan, have you used the Window before? If not, are you interested in doing so yourself, or would you like me to keep it up to date for you? I'll be glad to PM you your username and password, along with a link to the documentation, if you need it. The only suggestion I'd make...

Have you tried deleting the LV cookies in your browser? Firefox on Win Vista Home Premium gave me a similar problem, and deleting the LV cookies took care of it.

Its amazing what a bit of practice does - I can understand you both quite well :D Anne Yes, Esther does have a bit of a "lift" to the end of her sentences that I had to get used to. I enjoy her readings, though, and I did listen to An Antarctic Mystery . Next up on my "to listen to E...

Do you want a spot-check on section 5, Mark, or are we ready to validate?

And did you see that Operation Terror has (finally) been cataloged? I also added a few suggestions for your "to-do" list in that thread, if it's not too long already. :)

Just as an FYI, the file linked in the Window for section 02 is the original file, not the edited one. The edited file is here: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/pw/robertfalconer_1-02edit_macdonald.mp3 . Ken, I don't know if you know it or not, but the validator will NOT overwrite an existin...

It is interesting. I did think of something that might help. Perhaps the copyright thing only applies to new usages of the chara... the PD books are fair game, but new stuff using the charas have to be licensed.. Any thoughts there? Correct. If any of the Fu Manchu books are still under copyright, ...

Haven't checked the Raven thread, but we'll need the reader's info for the catalog. Best bet would be for the reader to create an LV account, but we can create a "noforumname" if they really don't want to do that.

Okay, sounds good! I will leave the notes in the MW so that Paul knows they need changing. Thank you! Yes, ID3 tags (and filenames, too, for that matter) can be changed in the validator without having to down- and re-upload the file. If anything else is wrong (too much or too little silence, volume...
