Audio problem: Aces Up section 24 [acceptable]

book title: Aces Up

https://librivox.org/aces-up-by-covington-clarke/

Section 24 (chapter 13 parts A and B),
The audio starting around 5:13 or so drops to a much lower level and is very muddy.
It continues that way until just before the "... End of... " statement.

Call for Radio identification

Hello Librivox! I haven't been on the forum very much recently, but I am still enjoying all of your fine work. I download stuff all of the time to air on our little radio station here in Columbus, Mississippi which is 100%, 24x7 audio books, 99.9% from librivox. We recently passed our 5 year anniver...

FIXED: Repeated chapter - Arts and Crafts Essays

Hi The recently finished book Arts and Crafts Essays has an error. There are two chapters related to Embroidery, chapter 18 and chapter 30. The reader for chapter 30 appears to have recorded chapter 18 instead. So chapter 18 appears in both places. https://librivox.org/arts-and-crafts-essays-by-vari...

Re: Classic Book Radio - progress report

Sorry, I had not been on the forum for quite awhile until today. About feedback, we do get a little on Facebook and some in person. I don't think there is any linked into our website, but that is a good idea! Another question about the mix of fiction/non-fiction: We've got plenty to work through of ...

[FIXED] History of Greece - faulty track?

https://librivox.org/a-history-of-greece-to-the-death-of-alexander-the-great-vol-1-by-j-b-bury/ track #5 The same reader's later tracks seem to be OK. I can barely make it out. The level and quality is much different than the rest of the recording. If possible, could that track be re-recorded? Chris...

Re: Classic Book Radio - progress report

I want to thank everyone who sent us a station identification recording! If anyone else wants to do that, we would be very happy to have your voice in our system. Since mid-November 2015 we have been running the station in a "test" mode on the weekends. Test mode means we don't have the obligation o...

Re: progress report and station ID recordings

An update on Classic Book Radio in Columbus, MS: We are still doing the fundraising thing, with some limited success. But we are close to the point of having enough for a minimal start-up configuration of equipment and supplies. I still have a few grant applications in play, with the most hope pinne...

Classic Book Radio - progress report

It was over a year ago that I posted on the forum about a faint wisp of a plan: librivox over the radio. Since then we have a) created a non-profit corporation, b) applied for and obtained a Low Power FM radio license, c) obtained IRS 501(c)3 non-profit status, d) put together a computer system and ...
