Darn I was hoping to have time to finish my last chapter before school started and it has just not worked out like that! If you would like to open up chapter 54 that would be fine with me - sorry it took me so long to allow you to do that! Hopefully someone has time to do it because it's so close to...

It probably won't get done in July because we've got some readers we are waiting to hear from, but HELP HELP HELP with the Count of Monte Cristo! It's been in progress for over a year and a half, and there are some orphans that would love to be adopted by a loving reader :)

To Rowen: Ender's Shadow is actually the beginning of another series of books - kind of confusing, but Ender's Shadow is Ender's Game, only written from Bean's point of view. It's amazing to me how the same story can be written from two points of view, and yet you still get a totally different book ...

Hmmmmmmm... Secret Garden, The Little Princess, those ones are good... One of my piano students is absolutely OBSESSED with the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer, so I have read the first 4. I would suggest them for about 7-14 year olds, the language is a little simplistic for me with very choppy se...

I must say that I personally very much enjoyed Annie Coleman's readings of Pride and Prejudice and Huckleberry Finn, which were the first two books I listened to. Oddly enough, I actually found Huck Finn on freeclassicaudiobooks.com (maybe .org?) instead of this site, and it was Annie's reading. GRE...

Phew! So I took chapters 53 and 54, but I decided that the only way that I could do a really good reading of them was if I knew what was going on in the story before that, so I've been reading the book. It's a long one!!!! I just finished it, so I will be getting my two chapters up shortly, I promis...

I thought this was really funny: I have a 7 1/2 month old nephew named Ethan (the cutest little boy in the world, might I say? :)) and thankfully I get to spend lots of time with him! He knows his auntie very well but sometimes while he's at home he has trouble falling asleep. HA HA HA my older sist...
