Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Jeremiah: Section 29 is PL OK but needs 0.5 seconds of silence at the beginning. Good reading.

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: Thanks for the update on section 26. It is PL OK. I don't think you are jinxed. I would much rather have a good reader with a few things that need fixing than a perfect recording from a poor reader. Keep up the good work.

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: Thank you for the update of section 25. It is now PL OK.
You had uploaded section 26. The blank time needed is 0.5 seconds at the beginning and 5 seconds at the end (10 seconds if the section is longer than 30:00).

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: PL Note Thank you for section 25. The car noise is gone. The inserted phrase at 21:29 is fine. At 21:35 the are two words that didn't get edited out from the previous--"having formulas". dB good at 87.0.

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: PL Note for section 26. Very nice reading. Carlyle's prolix, convoluted prose is difficult to read silently; I couldn't read it out loud!
Please add 0.5 sec at beginning of the recording; it is needed for some technical reason.
The dB level is 94.6. The goal is 89.0.

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: Thank you for the re-upload. The car noise is better. dB level 93.8.
00:21 after the chapter name please put in "part 1."
21:29 the following line was omitted "—having found them naught, worn out, far from the reality? She will make away with such formulas;"

Re: The French Revolution vol. 1 by Thomas Carlyle-arb
Mark: PL Note for section 25. Once again, nice clear reading. dB level 93.8. Our goal is 89.0. You can lower it with "Audacity" or a similar program. This probably wouldn't be worth the effort of fixing it and re-uploading by itself but with the other fixes it is easy to do. 00:21 after th...
