Here I am At least, my recording is in Cori's folder, duration 2:22
Apologies for sounding like a reading rather than a conversation - I had a small window of time to record and edit, so both were a little rushed. Hope it's ok, but feel free to edit, discard, whatever.

Re: Need help with English accent
I've spent a while on YouTube, trying to find a good example of Essex accents. "Aye-ya" indicates that you don't want the well known 'Only Way is Essex/early Victoria Beckham' accent, but rather the rural yokeldom Ruth mentioned. A little variety of accents in this short video (sweet littl...

It works both ways Ann,
We Europeans have to check that whatever is in the wiki and PD for LV is also PD for us.
A little research never did anyone any harm.
Of course, there are still hundreds of thousands of images in the British Library Archives that are PD for LV

'Cute' American Accents!
I didn't like to hijack Ruth's solo project, but thought this little snippet of Downton Abbey characters might bring a smile here and there!

Just a thought, does Audacity still recognize your microphone?
It should be visible in the dropdown box beside the microphone icon.

Instead I found this in the wiki: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Storyteller%27s_Recording_Guide It's rather long, but take you...
