Re: [SOLO] Songs for the millions by Benjamin Stott ~

Thanks, Anne! I've fixed the url by copying it from the google search results. I'm not sure how long shortened urls last!

Re: [SOLO] Songs for the millions by Benjamin Stott ~

MC: Annise, DPL: Newgatenovelist

This is off Google Books. I've used a shortened URL, because I can't work out how to get the URL without the search criteria in it.

Re: SOLO - Trivia by John Gay - ans

I'd stay well away, if I were you, especially if you are passing through the 18th century! I don't think I'll ever look at London in quite the same way now! Thanks for all these the PL notes, it will be a few days before I can get them done. Meanwhile, would you join me for Songs for the Millions - ...

Re: GROUP: The Old Adam by Arnold Bennett - annise

Hi Melissa,

It's been quiet here for a while, so I just want to check we are all still here!

I've claimed the last section myself, so we get this one on the road. Meanwhile, there is one section awaiting PL from back in April.

All the best,

Phil

Re: SOLO - Trivia by John Gay - ans

Thanks, Erin, I will look after Book 1 when you have finished with 2 & 3. Oh, those Greek pronunciations! They catch me out every time. For Section 2, I already have two PL notes to self. Pronunciations of Eurydice (twice around 18:00) and equipage (around 26:00). https://librivox.org/uploads/annise...

Yes, that's right, I say 'book', not 'chapter'.

I've changed the chapters in the intros to books , I've assumed you'll read books I II and III as your sections. The cataloguing will need to wait till later for me to finish it - I've a meeting

Re: SOLO - Trivia by John Gay - ans

Ha ha! I hope it's worth the wait! Book 1 ready for PL: https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/trivia_01_gay.mp3 - 18:01 I'm not planning to read the introduction, btw, it was written 200 years later and just seems to summarise the poem. It's 9 years and 9 months since I posted this as a suggestion - I...
