Re: [MEMOIR] Summer on the Lakes, in 1843 by Margaret Fuller - philc

I'd love to participate, either way. Betsy I thought that folks might...

Re: Introduction

Glad you joined us Antara. I am looking for ways in which high school students can access our catalog to listen to audiobooks. Apparently not every student or even teacher is aware of the resources available to them. Anyway, would you tell me what you consider the best way for students to download a...

Re: Hello! Brand new here

Welcome to LibriVox Natalie! It is neat of you to volunteer. At first some things may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, ...

That’s fine by me Phil. The old house goes on the market this Thursday so we are a tiny bit preoccupied just now.

So you are in the midst of a massive upheaveal in your life? Well ... in that case you may have 6 hours away.

Re: 1 minute test by Kshama

Hi Kshama. Your tech specefications are OK but I would like you to do several things and make another recording please. You have a large amount of background noise picked up by your microphone. This means machinery and hums in the room where you are recording. This noise needs to be removed either b...

Re: 1 Minute Test AV2012

Hi Andrew. Your test is correct in all technical specs and you have the official OK to record lots and lots. One note (which I rarely get to say) is that your volume is a tiny bit high at 92.6 dB. We aim at 89 dB and an upper limit of 92. Just move an inch away from your mic and this will b...
